Triphop is a, zero-commission, online travel marketplace intended to eliminate inefficient travel intermediaries by connecting travelers directly with travel brands. By doing so, travelers enjoy the best value and the best benefits while travel brands reduce their online distribution cost. Travelers should not spend over 91 minutes(today’s average) finding and booking a hotel. Neither should they be chasing the best deal only to end up trading-off some benefits for others. Triphop was founded in June 2016 by Basil Elotol, Sam Khawaja, and Qais Ammari in Cupertino, California.
