Access to low earth orbit is improving thanks to an increasing number of launch providers and new technologies reducing the overall launch weight/ price ratio. This creates attractive opportunities for space tourism (aka private space explorers), research, manufacturing, and a number of other use cases and services (e.g.: refueling, earth observation, space forces support, space dock and spacecraft repairs and up-cycling, space entertainment, etc.). Privately owned, commercially operated, low cost, and versatile space stations would provide an exceptional platform to benefit from said opportunities.
