Tamrac was founded in southern California by outdoor enthusiasts who loved nature photography. The name Tamrac was created to reflect the rugged outdoors. A pine tree found in the American wilderness inspired the name and we carry that heritage proudly today. Today, we are located in beautiful Ogden, Utah where we continue to draw inspiration from the mountains and deserts that surround us.
