As the cost of higher education skyrockets and the average household income declines, StraighterLine is enabling thousands of students to affordably obtain their degrees. StraighterLine provides online, self-paced, pay-as-you-go introductory level college courses for $99 per month or $1000 per year . The goal of this company is to increase access and affordability and lower the cost threshold for starting in college. Through StraighterLine, students are able to inexpensively take their core courses online and then seamlessly transfer those courses for credit at accredited partner universities to earn their ultimate degree.
