In 2007 smac partners executed a typical tail-end secondary venture capital transaction by acquiring a portfolio from Vertex Venture Capital, Israel. This fund, smac partners Fund II, comprises nine ICT portfolio companies. In 2008 smac partners closed its third fund in 3 years, smac partners Fund III, and so far has acquired stakes in 10 ICT-companies in Finland, Israel and USA.
