MONTIMAGE

Montimage is an SME created in 2004 and based in Paris. It offers tools and services for protecting and assessing the quality of networks including 4G/5G mobile and IoT networks ranging from the physical to the application layers. It commercialises a security and performance monitoring framework (MMT) and an easy to deploy secure 4G/5G mobile network solution (EPC-in-a-Box). Montimage is strongly involved and has a proven track record in research and innovation. It has won several prizes: “Success story 2014” for its research and innovation activities from the System@tic French regional cluster; “Synapse challenge 2020” (together with Unistra and R2CSystem) for its Internet mapping and anomaly detection solution (Cartimia); and, several innovation prizes in the CelticPlus and ITEA programs (e.g. in the CelticPlus-Sigmona and Mevico, ITEA3-Diamonds projects, H2020 Seals of Excellence). MMT (Montimage Monitoring Tool) is a monitoring framework that combines data capture, filtering, storage, events extraction, statistics collection, traffic analysis and reporting. It offers network, application, flow and user level visibility. Its real-time and historical views facilitate network performance monitoring and operation troubleshooting. Its advanced rule engine allows correlating network and application events in order to detect performance, operational, and security incidents. An easy-to use customizable graphical user interface makes MMT suitable for different user needs. The tool is easy to extend to add new protocols/applications, new security rules and machine learning algorithms to analyse captured events and behaviour. Different modules of MMT can be activated to work in IoT, cloud or 4G/5G contexts. EPC-in-a-Box is a portable mobile network solution based on Software Defined Radio, open-source and commercial Evolved Packet Core (e.g. from Cumucore). It integrates MMT for high added value security and performance monitoring and management capabilities.
