Micronic Technologies is a developer of MicroDesalTM, an advanced water treatment system that removes all contaminants from any source water. MicroDesalTM cleans contaminated water and provides increased throughput and projected significant savings in capital expenditures and operational costs compared to the competition. Independent tests verify it effectively removes ultra-high total dissolved solids, suspended solids, bacteria, and heavy metals in one pass without chemicals, filters, or membranes. The evaporator creates a “tornado” producing micro-droplets of water for rapid evaporation under low pressure and heat. With 95% efficiency, waste volume for disposal is greatly reduced. The Bristol, Virginia-based company was founded in 2008 by Karen Sorber and Kelly Rock.
