Medra Capital is a private investment company providing seed and follow-on funding for start-ups. As well as backing in-house ventures under their own direction, they are particularly interested in opportunities in technology, manufacturing, energy and sustainability, and peer-to-peer markets, where their team’s expertise adds most value. More often than not, they choose to invest in innovations that promote sustainability and minimise impact to the environment. These include energy saving, asset sharing, green technology, and re-using. Having said that, when they come across ideas that they find particularly appealing, they may invest without a sustainability angle.
