LC PAPER

LC Paper 1881, SA is a catalan company specialised in the tissue paper manufacturing. The factory, located in Besalu (Girona) features two machines: the MP3, a crescent-former tissue machine which produces 30.000tn/year with 2,76m of width; and the MP2, a fourdrinier tissue machine with 3,05m of with and a production capacity of 40.000tn/year. The MP3 has enabled LC Paper to achieve exceptional levels of energy and water saving. Its water consumption is 2.5 m3/t, along with a power consumption... of 2,100 kWh/t , which led LC Paper to obtain the Pulp and Paper International Award in 2011. The rebuild of the MP2 in 2014 has brought energy saving values ​​of 1.350 kWh/t. The product developed at LC Paper is OnePly: an eco-friendly, single-layer tissue with fewer fibers, less energy & water consumption but the same absorption capacity than traditional tissue paper.More
