The company proprietary material is cow-free, climate friendly, non-plastic, waste-derived, non-polluting. Being made of collagen, the protein that constitutes real leather, it is the closest substitute to cow leather and it retains its authentic feel. Hide Biotech was founded in 2020 by Yudi Ding and Niels Ramay and is based in Cambridge, England.
