HEMMER

Hemmer Alimentos is a Brazilian company headquartered in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, which produces and sells various canned foods. In 1915, the entrepreneur Heinrich Hemmer began to develop and market sauerkraut (sauerkraut). The raw material was cabbage, which he cultivated and transportation from the city by cart. With this initiative, Companhia Hemmer was born, one of the oldest industries in Brazil in the field of canned foods, now managed by the fifth generation of the founder and called Hemmer Alimentos.
