The Headwater Partners I portfolio is focused on inventing new technology and product designs for device-based, cloud-based and conventional network equipment-based smart services for mobile devices such as smart phones, tablets and laptops. The smart service technology invented by HWP I has spawned a new industry market segment that provides consumers with user-friendly, on-device, instant options for purchasing and managing cost effective 3G and 4G mobile connectivity for all their electronic devices. Although the portfolio is still growing, the technologies in the portfolio are in a mature phase of development and have enabled incorporation of a spin-out with an exciting new product line of smart service devices, cloud infrastructure and mobile services.
