Gathre mat was born out of this mentality - it gave us a literal space to gather with our kids, but was always about more. It was about making the effort to create a moment. Not a blip or a blur or a blink of an eye - a space of time where they could stop and be together. They've expanded their product line since those early days, but everything they make still creates space. Everything they make proves that beautiful things can be functional, that less can be more, that the effort to be together is always worth it.
