friendticker is a location-based mobile platform using gaming strategies and virtual check-ins to bring people and venues together. friendticker is used with smartphones to check in, share activities and recommend venues in a city users like. People are rewarded for their achievements in form of points and virtual items. Additionally, collected items can be exchanged for real-life goods, partly sponsored by brands. Users can post their activities and share their locations on facebook and via the friendticker website.
