The company, as an unregulated retail energy supplier, provides retail electric and gas services in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ohio. It also has wholesale energy marketing operations. The company was founded in 2000 and is based in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Exelon Generation Company, LLC is a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation.
