ERS Genomics is a biotechnology company to provide broad access to the foundational CRISPR-Cas9 intellectual property. The CRISPR-Cas9 utilizes a molecular complex comprised of the protein Cas9 together with one or more guide RNAs which binds to the genome in living cells at any desired locations and also offers significant advantages in cost, speed, efficiency over the earlier genome editing methods. ERS Genomics was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
