Enzagen is an industrial biotechnology company covering all aspects of manufacturing processes using enzymes. They have been involved in enzyme isolation, expression, applied biocatalysis, enzyme cloning, immobilization, and fermentation development for many different types of reactions in solvent and water-based process. The company also sells panels used hydrolases for bioresolution and deprotection chemistry, including peptidases, lipases, and proteases. Enzagen has developed a unique set of biocatalysts for metabolite synthesis in collaboration with CABI. It also uses its technology to design novel chiral reagent panels and EnzaCore SAR Explorer panels which are manufactured using specialist biotransformation chemistry.
