From its beginnings as a developer of software programs for high availability inventory applications, Zerowait has focused on the backbone of today's high availability networks - infrastructure maintenance and technical support. By 1999, they represented 10% of the sales of Arrowpoint, a major player in the switch-based, load-balancing arena, for whom they were an OEM. When Arrowpoint was purchased by Cisco, the existing OEM Agreements with Zerowait were abrogated, forcing Zerowait to adapt and to concentrate on other areas of business including computer storage and backup.More
