Young Arab Leaders (YAL) is an independent, not for-profit organization, founded in 2004 at the World Economic Forum under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Following the development of its new strategy, YAL UAE has embarked on a journey to create positive and lasting change in the Arab World through its new vision and mission. Enable positive change in the Arab world by developing and leveraging a strong network of Young Arab Leaders to serve as catalysts who impact socio-economic challenges such as unemployment and quality education.
