Our medication-assisted therapy (MAT) programs use FDA-approved medications to taper withdrawal effects during the detox process. Once detox is complete, supervised prescriptions continue while patients attend group and individual therapy. At WAVE, medication-assisted therapy is the cornerstone of the rehabilitation process. It is our philosophy to treat the whole patient— not just the addiction.
