Recognized as a career-preparatory institution with connections to the Episcopal Church and United Negro College Fund, Voorhees College (VC) offers a quality education in an inclusive atmosphere. Voorhees College is an HBCU. For over a century, the school has been preparing students for life and work. A couple of the degree offerings include Criminal Justice and Organizational Management. VC even administers a government-funded program called Upward Bound to help low-income students who are attending high school and are interested in being the first member of their family to attend a postsecondary school. There are many opportunities that await students through VC college life. From sports teams and spiritual groups to Greek Life and choir, there are many ways for ambitious students to keep busy and meet new friends. Admissions to VC require an application and fee along with official transcripts that show class rank. Certain students may need to submit letters of recommendation as well. Financial aid is awarded to those who qualify. All interested applicants must fill out a FAFSA.More
