Volve was found upon the general purpose of gaming, whether it's hardcore gaming or casual gaming. The gaming industry is a very lucrative industry. The missions for Volve is pleasing gamer's of all ages, also entertaining the general audience. The mission is to develop a gaming console that will be unique, having no features of current/previous gaming platforms, also be user friendly. The problem with the gaming industry currently is the prolonged current generation of consoles. The Xbox, PlayS... tation have been current for 7 to 8 years. On July 23, 2012 the CEO said "the lack of new consoles has damaged the entire games trade for consumers and developers alike. It's a lot less risky for us to create new IPs and new products when we're in the beginning of a new generation,our customers are very open to new things."
