The videmic app is a mobile platform for film and music festivals and for conferences. videmic allows organizers of such events to produce live recordings with their phones themselves and to transmit them to their attendees' phones. Without costly setup for wifi at the event! Without internet! Also, videmic transmits videos 400X faster than Bluetooth! videmic differs from other VOD and live streaming applications by the fact that the videos are transmitted to and stored on the users' phones, so... that they can watch them everywhere offline. videmic differs further in that videos can be transmitted from phone-to-phone within a matter of seconds using the Wi-Fi Direct technology! No streaming via the internet. Thus, videos can made available only for people visiting a particular location or attending a particular event. This proximity-based video delivery allows a number of new advertising formats for film and music festivals and the like.
