Vandenborre Energy Systems designs, manufactures, and sells pressurized hydrogen generation systems based on alkaline water electrolysis. Vandenborre’s products include H2 Igen, Reminel, H2 Cogen, and peripherals. Today, the company is offering Solenco Powerbox. Solenco Powerbox™ (SPB™) provides a one-stop solution for both heat and power needs. Unlike battery systems it can store for hours to months without degradation as it uses compressed hydrogen gas as energy storage. As of February 28, 2002 Vandenborre Technologies NV was acquired by Stuart Energy Systems Corporation.
