Tuiuti University of Paraná. For more than two decades Tuiuti was the only educational institution in Paraná to offer preschool education; 1st and 2nd grades and higher education. The first unit of higher education, the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters, in 1973, offered courses in Pedagogy, Psychology and Letters. In 1981, the Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy courses were created. In 1990, followed the courses of Data Processing, Dentistry and, in the following... year, the course of Law. In 1993, Tuiuti consolidated itself into Integrated Colleges of the Tuiuti Educational Society - FISET, expanding the offer of courses that met the demands of society. On July 7, 1997, by decree of the then President of the Republic Fernando Henrique Cardoso, the Tuiuti University of Paraná was created.
