The National University of Avellaneda arises as a result of a debate on university planning and by virtue of the historical background that refer to the cultural and educational wealth of the city of Avellaneda. It establishes as objectives the training of people of high ethical,political and professional quality as well as the generation and adaptation of knowledge, the conservation and reinterpretation of culture and active participation to lead processes of change towards a better quality of ... life of the community in which it is inserted.Thus,a new educational proposal of excellence that guides its institutional mission and training under the project that gave rise to it and which is based on democratic principles, emerges, pointing to critical reflection through interdisciplinary work and the relationship with the community.A proposal that links the local reality from a national academic field that seeks to respond to the demands of a better society.
