The University of the Cloister of Sor Juana, founded in 1979, is a prestigious institution of higher education that offers degrees, masters, diplomas and courses, mainly in the area of humanities and gastronomy, in addition, it is the seat of multiple and important cultural and academic activities . It is located in the former convent of San Jerónimo, a great architectural work that was founded in 1585 with a Renaissance style and baroque influence. In this room Sr. Juana Inés de la Cruz, the Tenth Musa, lived for 25 years, in which she produced most of her literary work.
