UCLan Engineering Innovation Center is a facility that creates an environment that inspires teaching, research, and knowledge exchange. It aims to plug this skills gap by working with local schools and colleges to encourage more students to take up engineering as a career option. They sees that the center will produce an increase of hundreds of locally trained graduates per year in areas such as aerospace, mechanical and oil engineering. It is a program responds to local skills and productivity challenges and directly contributes to the delivery of the UK Industrial Strategy.
