This means that most companies dealing with the chain logistics on a daily basis still do their work by e-mail or telephone. Usually they are usin... g the same carrier for all of their transport arrangements. This is not a transparent and sustainable way of administrating transportation. We have also heard this from our cooperation partners. E.g. a large construction store needs a carrier to deliver the goods to the customer. The parking lots are then filled with relatives and friends of the same carrier, ready to deliver the goods using their own cars. This system is in itself working, but who benefits from it and to what extent? The logistics of a day-to-day supply chain must be accurate and well-informed. Transport orders cannot be delayed, everything must be cast so that the production does not stop and the goods reach customers on time. The vast majority of companies and people looking for a carrier search for them on the Internet via Google, or use the contacts they have already established for this purpose, receiving quotes from a maximum of 2-3 carriers. As a rule, the work is agreed upon with the first one to answer. That is why they usually use one or two specific partners with whom trust and communication have been developed over the years. But they, too, need a better flow of information to do their jobs more efficiently, and there is nothing better than real time information. SOLUTION For the past 3 years, our Truck4goods team has been committed to mapping all the possible details which help digitize the road transport sector, from freight customers to transport managers. We have created an environment where anyone being in need of a freight transport, a van or a heavy truck, a crane or a dumper can register. Our team is developing a web and mobile app platform and a network to connect road transport carriers and logistics with freight customers. We aim to digitize this for the companies whose daily activities include moving goods, organizing transport, finding logistical solutions and providing information to suppliers and customers.
