TRAILACCESS

TrailAccess designs the Hard Terrain Manual Vehicle or HTMV, an innovative, patent-pending multipurpose vehicle that enables any person with limited mobility to go out and hike on almost any trail. Riders can also use the HMTV for SAR missions and casualty evacuations, and as a field ambulance. It targets three primary barriers to outdoor recreation faced by people with physical disabilities: a lack of technical assistive devices designed for unaccessible terrain; pervasive myths of incapability based on years of misinformation; and an absence of relevant cumulative knowledge.
