TRAI India is the Indian independent regulator of the telecommunications business that provides fixation or revision of tariffs for telecom services. One of the main objectives of TRAI India is to provide a fair and transparent policy environment which promotes a level playing field and facilitates fair competition. TRAI India was established in 1997 by an Act of Parliament.
