Topaz Power’s three state-of-the-art natural gas facilities in south Texas are the result of a three-year, $1.2 billion redevelopment project completed in 2010. Barney Davis Energy Center, Nueces Bay Energy Center, and Laredo Energy Center together generate over 1.8 GW—enough to power almost 600,000 households—in the ERCOT market. Barney Davis Energy Center, a natural gas combined cycle plant and a natural gas steam power generating facility located in Corpus Christi, Texas and rated at 657 MW and 335 MW. Nueces Bay Energy Center, a natural gas combined cycle plant located in Corpus Christi, Texas and rated at 664 MW. Laredo Energy Center, two state-of-the-art natural gas LMS100 simple cycle natural gas turbines in Laredo, Texas. Together, the units are 191 MW.
