TONOGUARD
TonoGuard develops the EasyIOP, an accurate, automatic, and non-contact self-measurement tonometer. Its device applanates the cornea with an air puff, detecting applanation with a patented optical system based on non-imaging optics. This technology eliminates the need for accurate positioning of the measuring device relative to the cornea apex. It intends the EasyIOP for self-use that includes by elderly and vision-impaired patients. It is part of the MassChallenge hub.
