TinyLetter enables its users to start their own mailing list and email newsletters. It is a free service that send updates, digests, and dispatches to their fans and friends. It also provides design tools same as a standard email client. When its users compose a message, they use the options in the toolbar to change the styling of their text content, add images, and add hyperlinks. It allows its users to add images to the newsletters by providing a URL for an image hosted elsewhere or upload their image. TinyLetter is a U.S.-based company that was founded by Philip Kaplan. The company was acquired by MailChimp in 2011.
