TIIPTOP
Tiiptop is an online and mobile recommendation service that provides its users with their friends' reviews about movies, books, music, videos and online newspaper articles. The service also includes a Firefox plugin that gives personalized recommendations about the page the user is on. Tiiptop launched in private beta in September 2008. A new version is being developed now, as well as an iPhone app. Tiiptop should go public in early 2009, first in French, but international versions will be available quickly after the launch.
