Ticketvala.com was a start-up in the Travel eCommerce space, primarily focused on the bus transport sector in India. Identified key talent and built a high energy team to rapidly grow the business from scratch to a market leader in India in the target space Architected and developed a core product based on Java (a Central Reservation platform for the bus operators) which has transacted more than 3 million transactions and deployed it as a SaaS model. Technologies used – Java, SQL Server, Webs... ervices, Apache Created the largest network of suppliers and a distribution network. Managed a team of 170+ professionals spread across various cities in India Ticketvala.com won the Red Herring Asia Award 2008 and was recognized as one of the top 100 start up companies in Asia displaying Innovation.
