Thirdspace is an independent, global software and services business offering interactive and on-demand television solutions for DSL (digital subscriber line) and other broadband networks. The company was incorporated in October of 2000 after investment from Alcatel and Oracle, respectively the worldwide market leaders in broadband access and e-commerce solutions. Their investments included core iTV technology and intellectual property, as well as substantial 'know-how' in the form of highly skilled and experienced engineers and systems integrators. Operating worldwide, Thirdspace has offices in London, San Francisco, and Ottawa and has been engaged by service providers in Asia and Europe.
