The South Suburban Council provides a continuum of treatment and recovery support services to residents of the greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana areas, as well as those in surrounding communities, with a focus on the economically disadvantaged. certified for Medicaid reimbursement by the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery, and Division of Mental Health. The Joint Commission has accredited the South Suburban Council.
