THE SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF ANIMALS
The Society for the Protection of Animals was recognized as being of public utility in 1860. Its missions consist of: - Fighting against mistreatment and abandonment - Collecting and housing abandoned, lost, or mistreated animals and finding them a home - Caring for animals from poor owners - Raise awareness among the general public and in particular young people about animal protection - Empower animal owners - Get involved with the public authorities to improve the animal cause.
