Established in June 2011, The Operational Risk Practice Pte. Ltd. (ORP) is a practitioner led risk consultancy and training firm, based out of Singapore. ORP's focus in in the Asian region covering financial and non-financial services industries with specific focus on the following key domains – Risk management framework, Basel 2 & Regulatory Compliance & Assurance, Strategic Change Risk Assessment (includes M&A and Business Process – Lean, Six Sigma), Business Continuity Management, Cyb... er Security, Data-MIS & Capital. ORP has recently been awarded an Innovation grant by the Singapore Government through the WDA wing. About the Founder The founder of the company, Rajit Punshi, has had extensive practical experience in operational risk for more than 14 years (out of a financial services career spanning over 23 years). As Global Head of Operational Risk Policy, Process and Regulation at Standard Chartered Bank, he was closely involved in operational risk policy development with some of the globe’s leading industry regulators (including the FSA) and associations (IIF, Singapore Bankers Association). Rajit is currently involved in the industry review of Operational risk at a global level. He was a Board and Nominations Committee member of the Operational Risk Exchange (ORX), the largest data consortium and association for operational risk globally, and is currently their Asia representative.
