The New Craftsmen was founded in 2012 by Mark Henderson, Catherine Lock and Natalie Melton. Since 2010 we have toured the British Isles meeting and documenting the makers of traditional craft, and the innovators using skills, honed over centuries, in a contemporary way. The result is The New Craftsmen: a network of makers who collaborate with us to showcase the finest materials, skills and craft products of the British Isles.
