The previous name of CenterD, Inc. was Fatdoor, Inc. The company did a name change without changing the corporate structure in October 2007. The Dealmap was headquartered in Menlo Park, Calif., and was started by Raj Abhyanker, an entrepreneur and patent attorney who recruited co-founder Chandu Thota from Microsoft. Prior to being sold to Google, Inc. in August 2011, the company was headquartered in Menlo Park.
