The Batsheva Organization aims to empower Jewish women in leadership and other fields. Sarah Rotenstreich, co-director of the Chabad Center for Jewish Discovery in Chelsea New York and founder of Preschool of the Arts network of schools, founded the Batsheva Organization, a Jewish women's leadership and empowerment organization in loving memory of Batsheva Rotenstreich, who died from cancer in May 2006.
