The Steinmetz Foundation was founded in 2007 by businessman and philanthropist Beny Steinmetz and his wife Agnes, with the aim of creating a better future for the children and youth in Israel. Up until that point, the Steinmetz family regularly donated to a variety of organizations in Israel and abroad, and in 2007 they decided to create a foundation for their philanthropic efforts, so they can operate more strategically and professionally.
