TETERBORO SCHOOL OF AERONAUTICS
The Teterboro School of Aeronautics in Teterboro, New Jersey, aims to prepare students to join the exciting field of aeronautics as Aviation Maintenance Technicians. Academics include certification for the Federal Aviation Administration ratings and include General Segment, Airframe Segment, and Powerplant Segment components in the curriculum. The Airframe and Powerplant Course may be completed in as little as 18 months. Students who earn the Federal Airframe and Powerplant certificates are el... igible to receive up to 66 credits towards a bachelor’s of science or associate’s of science degree from the Thomas Edison State College in New Jersey. The school offers student services to graduates, such as job placement assistance for a minimum of two years, mock interviews, graduate advising, notifications of new job opportunities via email and more. Admissions are open, allowing any student 17 years of age or older, in good physical and mental health and who has earned a high school diploma or GED, the opportunity to attend. To be considered for financial aid, students must complete the FAFSA. The school is eligible to offer assistance through federal Pell grants, direct PLUS loans, direct Stafford loans, Perkins loans and Supplemental Educational Opportunity grants. Veterans’ Benefits programs are also available to qualifying students.
