Their systematic approach integrates data from multiple sources, including remote sensing data, historical public records and cutting edge sensor technologies from space and other industries in order to assess landfills to an unprecedented level of breadth and quality. This will allow them to determine the likely profitability, costs and risks of mining a landfill.
