The intent is for the valve to be deployed and secured with no disruption to the native mitral annulus while preserving the sub-valvular apparatus. Placement of the valve is intended to be completed transapically in a simple procedure where the implanting physician is able to re-position, remove, and re-deploy their valve throughout the procedure.
