Our mission: where startups take off. TECHNOPARK Winterthur is a financially independent public limited company whose goal is to increase the attractiveness of Winterthur as a business location and create jobs in the region. Startups and spin-offs work closely together in cooperation with ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) research institutes and established companies, which offer transfer services. They exchange ideas and experiences, communicate directly with eachother and with imp... ortant stakeholders. The actively maintained network (Startup Guide) facilitates access to valuable contacts. Lectures, seminars, events and the public bistro offer further education, personal encounters, exchange of experiences and inspiration. With various events, TECHNOPARK Winterthur provides the important „community spirit“ among tenants, as well as like-minded people in the region. Startups can apply for effective promotional packages – depending on the degree of maturity, TECHNOPARK® Winterthur offers three packages that include not only rental reductions but also monetary benefits such as IP-monitoring, contract reviews and personal coaching. Office, laboratory and technical rooms with modern infrastructure can be leased very flexibly and at short notice. TECHNOPARK Winterthur is located in the middle of the newly emerging Lokstadt area near the city center. TECHNOPARK® Winterthur currently offers around 10.000 sqm of rental space. The premises are functional and of high quality. The vibrant district provides a variety of shopping and entertainment options. The ZHAW operates one of its campuses with the main library here.
