T-EDTA Limited was established to develop anti-biofilm technologies and infection control products. Anti-biofilm is used in advanced wound care products using the anti-biofilm agents tri sodium/tetra sodium EDTA (‘t-EDTA’). A biofilm is a group of microorganisms in which cells stick to each other and often adhere to a surface, such as wound. As such, they represent a major risk of woundsite infection.
