SWIRL DESIGN

Swirl is mainly a display style, in which a number of identical items are presented in sequence. It is not a list, but a circular arrangement of differently sized items, that can be made to swirl around. Sounds complicated? It is actually very simple, once you have seen it. Swirl’s single dimension simplifies its control, and the preferred control technique is called Stroke. The combination of Swirl and Stroke enables the user to interact with a large number of items in a limited space.
